Chapter one:

Leaving the festive Caribbean island of Trinidad is the British cruise ship called the Island Dream. But before the ship could leave the Caribbean sea for its voyage back to the United Kingdom, a freak storm came out of nowhere battering the ship with heavy rains and winds. One hour later ten of the Island Dream's passengers found themselves marooned on a strange island, including its Captain Carter and a young newly wed named Marissa Meake searching frantically for her husband on the beach. Unknown to them in a nearby tree house is a bronze skinned, scantily dressed man looking at the visitors with wonder?

Rick Less gets himself in trouble again, this time in a bar

TTOP Cops

brawl while wearing his police uniform. Fed up with his drunk antics his Sergeant gives him one last chance by transferring him to a special branch called TTOP. Located in the basement of the Port of Spain precinct, Rick meets the Sergeant in charge a little but tough looking fellow not taller than about four feet in height. "You must be Constable Rick Less, I am Sergeant Buck and welcome to TTOP!”- says the Sergeant.
Rick asked- "So what does top do?"
"We are the Trinidad and Tobago Occult Police, we handle the weirdest shit that those upstairs are afraid of!"- Replied the Sergeant.
Soon Rick meets his other workmates Constable Siah a beautiful woman who can read minds , and Constable Tobi Ju who looks like a version of the fabled big foot. As the sun goes to rest and the night awakens Sergeant Buck says- "Okay people it's time to hit the streets!"
So begins Constable Rick Less new job as a member of TTOP.

 FOUR ON TTOP

SALYBIA BAY, TOCO, TRINIDAD A BOAT PULLS UP ON SHORE CARRYING CONTRABAND FROM NEARBY VENEZUELA. BUT LYING IN WAIT IS THE OFFICERS OF TTOP, CONSTABLES RICK LESS, TOBI JU AND SIAH. ONCE TTOP(TRINIDAD & TOBAGO OCCULT POLICE.) IS INVOLVED MEANS THAT THIS IS NO ORDINARY STAKEOUT, AS THE SMUGGLERS WERE NOT ONLY CARRYING GUNS ON THEIR BOAT BUT ALSO AN ALIEN CREATURE CALLED 'CUATRO'. SIAH SPEAKS TO BOTH OFFICERS USING HER TELEPATHY SAYING “THAT'S IT! I KNEW THAT THE GETMORE CORPORATION WAS SMUGGLING ALIENS INTO TRINIDAD.”

STORMING THE BEACH TTOP ANNOUNCE THEIR PRESENCE, THE TWO SMUGGLERS ATTEMPT TO FLEE THE SCENE BUT ARE EASILY CAUGHT BY RICK AND TOBI JU. STRETCHING HER HAND TOWARDS THE ALIEN SIAH SAYS “COME WITH US, WE CAN HELP YOU!”

STANDING AT ABOUT FOUR FEET TALL, WITH FOUR ARMS AND REDISH SKIN THE ALIEN REPLIES “CUATRO DONT NEED ANY HELP FOM LA POLICIA!”

BEFORE STRIKING DOWN CONSTABLE SIAH. SOON RICK AND TOBI JU JOIN IN THE FRAY.

“FOR A LITTLE GUY, HE SURE IS TOUGH!” EXCLAIMS RICK AS THEY STRUGGLE TO ARREST THE ALIEN.

SUDDENLY SOMEONE BEHIND THEM SHOUTS “WATCH OUT!”

AS AN ENERGY BLAST HITS CUATRO KNOCKING HIM UNCONSCIOUS. TURNING AROUND THE OFFICERS OF TTOP SEE THEIR BOSS SERGEANT BUCK WITH A LARGE GUN IN HIS HANDS, HE CALLS 'THE GHOST GUN.'

“THAT'S COOL! I WANT ONE?” SAYS RICK.

“MAYBE WHEN YOU GROW UP, WE NEEDED FOUR OFFICERS TO STOP A PERP WITH FOUR ARMS!” REPLIED SGT. BUCK.

Bar Brawl!

Welcome to the Blue Oyster club located in San Fernando, Trinidad and run by sisters Jean and Dinah. When these girls are not running their family business they moonlight as bounty hunters chasing the worst criminals across T&T. But this time they are the hunted, when a slim young woman walks in the club glancing at the Blue sisters. Dinah was busy behind the bar counter, while Jean is playing a game of all fours with the boys. A patron offers to buy the woman a drink. Soon after taking one shot of alcohol things got weird as the woman morphed into a giant brute, and heads toward Jean's table. Running to her sister's aide is Dinah and the Blue Oyster 's own bouncer 'Stumpy'. But the three of them isn't enough to contain the monstrous woman calling herself Mildred, and saying that she was sent by 'Churile' an old enemy of Jean and Dinah. As Stumpy goes down crashing to the floor, firing her pistols to no avail Dinah says- "Nothing is hurting this thing!"

Likewise Jean keeps breaking her daggers on Mildred's skin, just narrowly escaping her punching. As the sisters battle with the brute, patrons scamper out of the club calling for the police. Dinah remembers that Mildred became strong after drinking alcohol so she tells Jean- " We just need to wear her down and she'll revert back to her skinny self!"

A few minutes later TTOP arrives Trinidad's task force for dealing with the weird. Entering the club Sergeant Buck and his team finds Mildred restrained and back to normal, Jean ask- "What took you'll so long? We already did all the hard work!"

The Mighty Man-go ch2

After school Mark Gonzales invites his best friend Rishi to his house to show him the Man-go. In his back yard hidden underneath a huge Calabash tree Mark shows Rishi the metallic orb he found. Demonstrating the symbiotic relationship he and Man-go has Mark armor's up, gasping Rishi exclaimed- "Cool, you're like a superhero. You can use this to fight crime!" 

Replying Mark says- "Good idea, but I need to learn more about Man-go and what it's capable of!"

Two weeks later an unidentifiable flying object orbits the moon. Inside an alien watches a failed jewelry store robbery on its monitor, where the thieves were stopped by an armored man. Just then another alien walks in saying- "You've found it, the Goliath is on this primitive planet!"

"Yes Captain, the Goliath seems to have found a new host and is on an island called Trinidad!"- replied the first alien.

The Mighty Man-go ch1

Mark Gonzales is your typical West Indian teen growing up in the town of Siparia, Trinidad and Tobago he likes to play cricket with his friends, but most of all Mark loves eating mangoes. At the start of the 'mango season' Mark goes by the big Calabash tree in his backyard, while there he notices a strange green orb lying under the tree. Reaching out to touch the object, instead the object changes its form and grabs Mark turning him into a five foot metal ball. With no idea whats going on, Mark rolls out into the street at the same time a heavy duty truck was passing and heading for a collision with Mark. Mashing his brakes frantically the driver tries his best to stop the truck, when Mark transforms into an armored titan stopping the truck with his hands.

Later that day Mark returns home back to normal, his mother was watching the incident on TV telling Mark “Did you see this? It happened not too far from where we live!”

After having lunch Mark retires to his room and opens his knapsack taking out the orb. He says “I don't know what you are, but since I found you by a mango tree I'm going to call you the Mighty Man-go!”

Payalat Ch 1

Chapter 1

In the year 1845 East Indians arrive in Trinidad on the boat called the Fath Al Razack. Bringing their culture, food, and religion to the Caribbean island. Fast track to the early 21^st century, where engineering student at the University of the West Indies Sunil Payal is fascinated with the Vimanas(flying machines) of Hindu mythology. So when he finds an old Sanskrit text at his grandmothers house in Chaguanas, Sunil decides to follow the instructions found inside the book and build his own Vimana. Using spare car parts from his father's auto repair shop, and assisted by his school mate James Corneal. Sunil sets out to work on his amazing project.

Every time Sunil and James went to work on the ancient vehicle, they noticed a black Mercedes Benz, heavily tinted passing by. Six months later the Vimana was finished and Sunil was ready to test drive it. Powered by a car battery the young engineer steps into the Vimana, talking to James via a two-way radio he ask “James are you ready for lift off?”

Replying “yes pilot I'm ready!” as James tie a large rope onto the Vimana's tale and the next end onto a steel post.

Revving up the engine on the strange machine the size of a car, it slowly starts to elevate from the ground. Shouting James says “it works, it actually works!”

He then tells Sunil “you can bring it down now!”

But while Sunil attempts to bring the Vimana down, it gains more propulsion shooting the vehicle upwards and bursting the rope that was anchoring it to the ground. Parked opposite Sunil's house was a black Mercedes Benz and the man inside says “they actually got that Vimana to work!”

The Afronauts Ch 18: Gifts of Mercy

Chapter 18: Gifts of Mercy.

Space on board the star-ship Exodus, Doctor Bushe' and science officer Patranella develops an artificial form of melanin to cure their alien crewman 'Rafiki ' of the virus ravaging his body. Soon in a few days time Rafiki was back to his talkative self. The Afronauts then learn that other nearby planets are also affected by the same virus, spread by the alien monsters called 'The Wyte '.

Deviating from their quest to find the home world of their ancestors. Captain Moses orders science officer Patranella and Doctor Bushe' to create more of the 'Melanium' in order to save the people of these infected planets. Word of the Afronauts and their miracle cure soon spreads throughout the Galaxy, even reaching to the Kolonials the mysterious invaders responsible for the Wyte. On hearing about these cosmic trouble makers and their super robot Captain K'limbus leader of the Kolonials, sends the cybernetic hunter called the 'Star Reaper ' after them.

The Afronauts chapter 17

Chapter 17:

Launching out of the star-ship Exodus is the 20ft tall, Afronaut made robot called the 'Afrobot'. Piloted by the brave Captain Moses as it streaks through the stars, in order to rescue some of his crew trapped on an asteroid. As the Afrobot lands on the asteroid , the alien threat called the Wyte leaves behind the battered Afronauts and storms the incoming automaton.

While the Wyte is distracted by the Afrobot, Commander Lox and Lilian rush the very ill Rafiki back to their cruiser to return him to the Exodus for medical treatment. With his crew safely off the asteroid, Captain Moses can now let loose taking out his solar canon and firing on the Wyte. Back at the star-ship Exodus Doctor Bushe' says- "I no why the other Afronauts were not affected by this virus, because of their high melanin level which acted as a shield stopping the virus from invading their bodies!"

The Afronauts Chapter 16

Chapter 16: 

On an asteroid in deep space Commander Lox, Rafiki and Lilian find themselves surrounded by pale skinned  aliens called the Wyte. One touch from the Wyte immediately makes Rafiki feel very sick, maybe because he's an alien himself because Commander Lox keeps punching the 'pale faces' with no problems. Sending a message to the Exodus with her telecommunications device Lilian ask the Captain for help. Receiving the message Captain Moses tells his bridge crew- "it's time to test out the Afrobot!"

Replying to him science officer Patranella  ask- "who's piloting it?"

Me!- Captain Moses responded.

Robot Revolution

2-Saint personal journal: When the Empress of Venecaribe the all powerful Maquina, sends a Warbot to 1791 Haiti. The 22nd century sea fearers called the Pirateers needs to send someone back to stop it, before Maquina changes the outcome of the Haitian revolution. This time I was hoping that Anna didn't volunteer for another dangerous mission, but it was wishful thinking as she asked Captain Drake to go and stop the Warbot. And as her guardian robot I have to be at her side. Using a machine called the 'temporal compass' the Pirateers are able to detect wormholes in the Bermuda Triangle, allowing them to time travel. Frequent user of these wormholes is non other than my master Anna Andrews earning her the nickname Sagagirl.

Just our luck Anna and I was spat out by the wormhole in the middle of a battle between the French royalist and the revolting slaves. Ex-slave and courageous fighter Andre Rigaud saw when we arrived, believing that Anna must be a Voodoo goddess he orders his men to protect us. Soon after a hasty retreat back at the rebels camp, we try to explain to the former slaves that the French is bringing a metal monster to help them win the war. But Anna assures them that she can stop the monster, "because I have a metal man of my own, I named him after our leader Toussaint!" Pointing towards me- "if I wasn't a robot, I would've felt very bashful right now!"

That night Rigaud and his men lead us to where the French royalist Viscount de Blanchelande stores his weapons. Picking up something massive on my scanners I tried to warn the rebels, when we were attacked by the ten foot tall Warbot. Most of the rebels flee for their lives who didn't make it got crushed or blasted by the Warbot's weapons. I also wanted to run but Anna and Rigaud stood their ground and remained fighting. Using her X-Ray glasses that allows her to see the Warbot's weak points and an array of futuristic weapons at her disposal. Anna was able to take down the Warbot piece by piece, leaving Rigaud and the remaining rebels astonished saying- "you really are a goddess!"

With their super weapon destroyed the French soldiers retreated allowing us to gather the Warbot parts and incinerate it. Later Anna and I tell the rebels 'goodbye' as we must return to the future. Anna asked Rigaud- "have you ever been kissed by a goddess before?" Then she gave him a smack on his cheek, before using the chrono watch on her hand to send us back home.

The Afronauts Ch 12: Daring Rescue

Chapter 12

The planet Fariah, Captain Moses, Lt Patranela and an army of Farians launch an attack on the 'Pale Faces' who captured their brethren. The native Farians fought fiercely using spears, knives and even their hair. While Captain Moses and Lt Patranela stun the guards around their pyramid ship called the 'Exodus'. Inside the two member crew flies the Exodus over the Pale Faces ship, targeting their propulsions and rendering the alien ship unmovable. Transferring a message Captain Moses says: “This is Captain Moses of the starship Exodus, we have you cornered but are willing to let you go if you would release our captive crew members!”

Reluctantly Captain K'limbus of the Kolonial fleet, seeing that he has no other options agrees to let the prisoners go. The Afronauts being a noble people allows the Kolonials/Pale Faces to fix their ship and leave. Before realizing that one of their crew is missing, cadet Lilian is still onboard the Kolonial ship.

Papa Bois and the Foresters Ch2

Chapter 2

It is Saturday morning and Aaron and his friends Janelle, Rakesh, and his goat Jumpah are ready to explore the High Woods. Calling themselves 'the Foresters' the three teenagers and their goat, set out to rescue injured animals and to sample exotic fruits. Playing near a stream of water the Foresters notice that there is a lot of dead fish floating. Janelle says: “I'm hearing a noise upstream!”

And runs upwards with the boys trailing behind. Peeping through some bushes the Foresters see a group of men dumping chemicals in the river. Rakesh points out silently “you see that logo on the barrels, that's 'Grede Enterprises' one of the biggest oil contractors in Trinidad!”

Snapping a picture with his cell phone Aaron says: “they're polluting the river, we must tell someone about this!”

Just then a man shouts: “what are you kids doing there?”

As the Foresters run for their lives, because they are being chased by the men at the river. Tripping on a vine Rakesh falls and is snatched up by one of the men.

Papa Bois and the Foresters Ch 1

Chapter 1

Growing up in the town of Fyzabad located in south Trinidad, Aaron Lyon loved nature every evening after school he would go and give his goats water. Hanging out with his favorite Jumpah in the high woods. One day while roaming Aaron and Jumpah got lost, but luckily they were found by Uncle Nestor an awkward old man with a big beard who lives in the woods. He guides Aaron and Jumpah back home, giving Aaron a conch shell saying “if you ever get into trouble in the forest just blow and Papa Bois the forest guardian will come to help!” 

As Aaron walks towards his house he looks at the shell and thinks “what a crazy old man!”
