18: Gifts of Mercy.
Space
on board the star-ship Exodus, Doctor Bushe' and science officer
Patranella develops an artificial form of melanin to cure their alien
crewman 'Rafiki ' of the virus ravaging his body. Soon in a few days
time Rafiki was back to his talkative self. The Afronauts then learn
that other nearby planets are also affected by the same virus, spread
by the alien monsters called 'The Wyte '.
Deviating
from their quest to find the home world of their ancestors. Captain
Moses orders science officer Patranella and Doctor Bushe' to create
more of the 'Melanium' in order to save the people of these infected
planets. Word of the Afronauts and their miracle cure soon spreads
throughout the Galaxy, even reaching to the Kolonials the mysterious
invaders responsible for the Wyte. On hearing about these cosmic
trouble makers and their super robot Captain K'limbus leader of the
Kolonials, sends the cybernetic hunter called the 'Star Reaper '
after them.
